Janine and Nick first met in 2016 on Janine's third day of her internship with the El Paso Chihuahuas. Janine says it was the third day of work because Nick was out sick those first couple of days, but Nick insists he first saw Janine weeks earlier at Later Later and knew she was someone special.

They quickly got close trading notes, jokes, and small gifts. Janine once jokingly said she loved his last name... who would've thought it'd be hers a few years later!

Janine and Nick tried to deny their bond, but they (and everyone around them) always knew they were meant to be together. In addition to the love they had for each other, Nick has quickly fallen in love with the El Paso sunshine, rainbow sunsets, and the chance to keep working on his "español".

Finally, almost 8 years later on September 22, 2023, Nick asked Janine the biggest question of his life, to spend the rest of their lives together, and it was the easiest yes of her life!

They cannot wait to celebrate one of the happiest moments of their lives with their closest friends, family, and loved ones!
